I purchased two YOGO mats – the Ultralight Lengthy Yoga mat for my husband, and the usual Ultralight for me. I'll put up the identical overview underneath every product, however to be clear, they’ve totally different dimensions. The Ultralight Lengthy is a little bit thicker (2mm), and is bigger (6 toes lengthy & barely wider @ 29 inches x 72 inches). The usual Ultralight is thinner (.5mm), and is smaller (slightly below 5 ' 7" @ 24 inches x 68 inches).
I personal no less than a dozen yoga mats, actually, and have bought a number of compact, folding and journey mats. These YOGO mats are actually my go-to mats. They’ve nice grip, are very nicely designed and sturdy, are eco-friendly and made from plant-based supplies, are straightforward to wash (they don't soak up water, and also you simply rinse and dangle within the bathe with the built-in straps/loops), are very compact (see images and video – they'll actually slot in a big purse or underneath your automobile's seat), and are very fairly priced.
For context, I follow Bikram (Scorching) Yoga weekly, and can often attend a Vinyasa or conventional (non-hot) yoga class with my husband. I all the time maintain a yoga mat in my automobile and in my workplace. My conventional (roll-up) yoga mats have pissed off me becuase they're large & cumbersome )they get in the way in which within the automobile, and I typically must take them out to make room in my automobile (eg. child stuff, strollers, car-seats are inclined to take precedence), which has left me on the yoga studio many occasions with no yoga mat becuase I forgot to place it again in my automobile. I don't like paying to hire yoga mats; apart from being frugal, they're all the time gross and smelly. Plus, each roll-up mat places nasty germs, micro organism and gross stuff from the studio/different folks on the floor I lie/follow on simply by nature from rolling them up when achieved. These mats fold up in a method that ALWAYS maintain the yucky stuff from the underside, on the underside. The way in which you fold it retains the 'backside' and the 'prime' remoted. That is significantly essential to me as I typically follow in sizzling (102-degree) and humid yoga studios, which have nasty flooring (regardless of the studio homeowners' greatest efforts.)
I've purchased and in contrast these to folding and 'journey' mats made by Gaiam, Manduka (Mandua eKo SuperLite Journey Yoga & Pilates Mat), Navris Foldable Yoga Mat, Khataland YoFoMat, and Toplus Journey Yoga Mat. These YOGO mats are my favourite and the one ones I've stored and use. I speak a little bit bit about this in my video overview (hooked up).
These are very sturdy, have nice grip (and don't require 'damaged' down or 'worn' down like Gaiam & Manduka mats), are clear and simple to wash, and are splendidly compact and moveable. I spent an embarrassing period of time researching and attempting out different yoga mats, and simply hope my overview helps others in an identical state of affairs. Namaste!
